A Charity focused around US
About Our Partnership
The charity 'leicestershire diversity foundation' is a local charity to Liam Young and therefore one of the key partnerships that have been created through the industry as it allows for over 50% of the profits from people streaming and enjoying quality music. They are focused around being all inclusive for anyone who feels alone or feels discriminated against at work or at home and allows for people to have a place to go and to be themselves
A bit about ME
My Story
'From a young age I have always had a passion for music, from singing in the school musical to having lessons after school. After attending De Monfort University and studying music I was left to make my own way round the world, I didn't know quite how to do it, but I knew I wanted music to play a role in it. Following a few months in an office job to pay the rent I just knew that I needed to get out of that office and get back to doing what I love. After approaching Harmony Music asking them to help me publish my first single they realised the true potential I had and helped me make it big time, by contacting radio stations for paid promotions of my music to having flyers scattered around small time concerts. In only 3 years of working with Harmony music I am happy to say I reached my goal - that being when my song comes on the radio people around the country want to jump up and sing along! A motive of which has carried me to releasing my newest single If I Can't Have You. As well as Harmony Music helping me progress through my music career it's important to highlight how the charity Leicestershire Diversity Foundation has helped me though the challenging times of finding my own, independent way around my career. I felt when starting out that it was possible my disability would hold me back and discrimination would carry a heavy burden when starting out, but the charity stood by me and here I am now. a disability that effected my childhood considerably is now something which I sometimes forget exists due to the way the LDF have helped me take a new look at life ' ~ Liam Young, October 2019
Please share YOUR story with the links below and show the world that something like a disability can't hold us back - I will be actively looking and reading your stories and sharing those which are real motivators for those who are currently at rock bottom (It can only go up from there!!)
